The User Conference, which took place on 26-28 October, 2010 in Rome, Italy, was well attended and saw over 1000 delegates representing geospatial-related businesses from the world over, enabling each of the Alliance Partners to connect directly with clients from their region.
The Alliance booth, with representatives from DigitalGlobe, SIME and EUSI, displayed a host of WorldView-2 8-band imagery, including collections over Rome, Italy and Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Pawel Ziemba, from DigitalGlobe was invited to present in the Defense & Intelligence stream of the User Presentations, and spoke on Change Detection & Image Analysis using WorldView-2 8-band imagery. The team also conducted on-booth demonstrations on the various commercial applications of 8-band imagery, as well as displaying SIME’s 3D GIS software application, GeoAxel.
