GIS Analyst & GIS Administrator

Space Imaging Middle East is seeking to hire a GIS Analyst & GIS Administrator.

• Designs, develops, configures and implements ArcGIS Enterprise Environment.
• Suggesting Esri Best Practices to the end users and providing the best approach.
• Performs systems administration functions for web map applications, APIs, REST Urls and other technologies that may include GIS services to ensure supported systems are efficiently maintained and available 24×7 to support organizational project’s needs.
• Performs query, analysis and reporting activities.
• Consults, as a SME by clearly and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical and technical users.
• Troubleshoots issues by reviewing server logs, performing data queries, recreating steps & interacting with users.
• Performs ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
• Works closely with the database administrator to Integrate geospatial databases with external data sources and establish workflows.
• Documents daily work processes, instructions and procedures.
• Supports strategic GIS team missions and goals and help guide technical vision.

• Esri Certifications will be considered as an asset(optional).
• Must have Experience using the Esri suite of products including ArcGIS Server Advanced or ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Dashboard, ArcGIS Survey 123, ArcGIS Pro, Esri Enterprise Geodatabase, Spatial databases and Python scripting(optional).
• Administration of ArcGIS Portal, knowledge of publishing/managing webmaps.
• Must have proficiency working with all geospatial data formats.
• Experience of SDE and Oracle Spatial enterprise database management.
• Experience of Network analysis, Spatial data analysis, model builder using ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience working with variety of vector and raster datasets from public and private sources.
• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of computerized information management, including system design and analysis, programming tools and languages, hardware, software, database applications, and network applications and capabilities.
